		<description>The Big Blog is consistently one of the most forward-looking in terms of reader engagement. 

Mónica really gets it, and she is doing the P-I a lot of good that they probably don&#039;t even realize yet. 

The featured comment in the sidebar is pretty killer - but I think the most substantive way to improve the quality of the comments left on the big blog is for the authors to roll up their sleeves and enter the dialogue themselves.
